11/18/25 – We're excited to announce new file upload enhancements in the Lifetouch Portal!
Here's what's new:
📁 When uploading files, you’ll now be prompted to select the school year, season, and file type to help us process your data more efficiently.
✅ The Portal will display the accepted file formats for each upload. For example, Student & Staff Data Files will support .xlsx, .csv, and .xls formats.
🏫 If you have district level access and your file includes information for multiple schools, you’ll be able to select each school represented.
⬆️ You’ll now be able to upload up to five files of the same type at once, saving you time and clicks.
Watch the Video to the left, or refer to the Portal Quick Start Guide or Portal User Guide for the new upload process!
Note: Before uploading, please consolidate your subject data into a single spreadsheet whenever possible. If you need to upload separate files, please browse and select all files at once before clicking Upload.
11/11/25 – Starting on December 9, Lifetouch will begin requiring Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to log in to the Lifetouch Portal, Prestige Yearbook Choice, and the Lifetouch Yearbook Website. To log in, users will be required to enter an authentication code sent to the email address associated with their account. This update enhances the current safeguards to our applications where FERPA-protected student data and photos are stored. Learn more >

9/24/25 – The Create ID Card feature in the Lifetouch Portal has been updated to include all the functionality of the former "Create Specific ID Card" feature, giving you more flexibility to create the exact replacement ID cards you need.
After your portraits are uploaded, use Create ID Card to make new or replacement ID cards. Here are a few tips to help you get started:
Create up to 50 ID cards at a time, as long as the subjects share the same card design.
If you use different designs for student and staff ID cards (as most schools do), print staff cards in one batch, then student cards in another.
If you use separate designs by grade level – popular in middle and high schools – print each grade as its own batch.
