Psalm 150

Praise

Here at the end of our series on the Psalms, we find ourselves in praise.  We did not over them all, but sampled widely, and have enjoyed the richness together.  It is fitting that, in spite of the varied dimensions of life that the Psalms have invited us through (perhaps sometimes in spite of some aspects of them), they reach their climax in praise.   This is not by accident here, and it should be intentional, and natural for us, as well.  Take a few moments to enter into the words and expression of the psalm, and let them sink in deeply.  This is what Pastor Jon invites us to reflect on and enter into this morning.

If you would like to listen to the sermon again, or perhaps for he first time, you can access our sermon library here.  If you would like to view the entire livestream version of the service, you can view that here.

Psalm 150

Praise the Lord.

Praise God in his sanctuary;

    praise him in his mighty heavens.

Praise him for his acts of power;

    praise him for his surpassing greatness.

Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,

    praise him with the harp and lyre,

praise him with timbrel and dancing,

    praise him with the strings and pipe,

praise him with the clash of cymbals,

    praise him with resounding cymbals.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Praise the Lord.
