Psalm 100

  Making A Joyful Noise

Joyful noise?  How often does our lives create that kind of sound?  What kind of lives generate joyful noises?  What is the music that we live by and move to?  Are they joyful noises, or anxious noises that provide rhythm to our steps?  How does the music we move to impact the way we worship and the way we live?  That is what Pastor Jon explores with us in this Psalm this morning.

Psalm 100

NIV

A psalm. For giving grateful praise.

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.

    Worship the Lord with gladness;

    come before him with joyful songs.

Know that the Lord is God.

    It is he who made us, and we are his[a];

    we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving

    and his courts with praise;

    give thanks to him and praise his name.

For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;

    his faithfulness continues through all generations.
