What is a Combi Quote?
A Combi Quote lets you combine two or more quotes from different Enquiries for the same Prospect into a single customer quote. Typical use: the client wants one proposal covering, say, Plumbing and Landscaping. You price each service separately, mark them In Combi, and then bundle them into one Combi Quote to submit.
The Prospect has multiple active Enquiries (different service types) and wants one consolidated offer.
You want to keep service pricing separate internally, but issue one PDF and one approval flow to the customer.
Two or more Enquiries under the same Prospect (e.g., “Plumbing – Villa A”, “Landscaping – Villa A”).
For each Enquiry, create a quote using any method (Easy / Standard / Estimate-based).
On each of those quotes, toggle/flag “In Combi” (or “Include in Combi”) and do not approve/submit them. They must remain Draft/In Combi to be selectable.
Prefer the same currency & tax regime across the constituent quotes.
Open Enquiry (e.g., Plumbing) → Quotes → Add Quote (Easy/Standard/Estimate-based).
Complete pricing. Set “In Combi = Yes” (or “Include in Combi”).
Save as Draft. Do not Submit/Approve.
Repeat for the second service (e.g., Landscaping) — again mark In Combi and keep in Draft.
Go to Preconstruction → Prospects → [Prospect] → Quotes → Add → Combi Quote.
In the Select Quotes list, tick the Draft quotes that are In Combi (e.g., Plumbing, Landscaping).
Set the Combi Quote title, validity, and shared terms/taxes.
Choose how to present pricing (e.g., sectioned by service type or a single total).
Save Draft → Review totals (and optional header discount/markup) → Submit Quote.
Generate the customer PDF from Print/Export.
A single quote containing the summed total (and, if configured, separate sections per service type).
Each selected constituent quote is referenced; their status remains Draft/In Combi (not sent to the client).
Not appearing? The constituent quote must be for the same Prospect, flagged In Combi, and not submitted/approved.
Currency mismatch will block or mis-total; align currency before bundling.
After you Submit the Combi Quote, changes to constituent quotes won’t auto-flow; rebuild the Combi if you update a component.
Keep BOQ/UOM consistency within each constituent quote; Combi just aggregates their priced outputs.
