Pre-Tender refers to the stage prior to the award of the actual Job, it is also commonly called Tendering.
JobNext supports the following functionality:
Prospect Management: A Prospect is an individual or organization with whom the Contractor engages in order to win a Job. A Prospect is essentially an Owner of a Project who will choose a Contractor based on the bid.
In JobNext the following sub-processes are supported for a Prospect:
Contact Management - Contacts are individuals who are part of the Prospect and whose information need to be stored for Marketing Activities prior to winning the Job.
Follow-up: Follow-ups or Meetings can be recorded or scheduled in the future.
Enquiry: An Enquiry is the Job that will be awarded this can also be referred to as the Tender.
Quote: A Quote or a bid is the price that the Contractor will submit to the Prospect against an enquiry by the Prospect. A Quote is created by applying a Markup to an Estimate.
