The Pre-Tender process deals with the process of obtaining new business.
The final output of the Pre-Tender process is the creation of a Quote to be submitted to a Prospective Client. The Quote contains the prices that are going to be charged for each BOQ.
These prices all are essentially Cost+ Prices derived from loading a Profit Markup % on an estimated cost. There are 3 ways in which an estimated cost can be calculated:
1: Creating a Quote from a Standard Cost
2: Creating a Quote from the Scheduled Rate
3: Create a Quote by building an Estimate Manually
