1. Chart of Accounts

• In OMNI Accounts are organized in terms of Groups and Ledgers. A Group may contain other groups and Ledgers. A Ledger is the Account in which a Transaction (DR or CR) is booked.
• A Group has a 4 character code. A Ledger has a 8 character code - the first 4 characters is the code of the Group that the Ledger belongs to.
