Easy Quote is the fastest way to price an Enquiry. It pulls your BOQ lines into a simple pricing sheet so you can enter sell rates directly (or apply a global markup/discount) and produce a customer-ready quote in minutes. Use Easy Quote when:
your BOQs are already defined and you don’t need cost build-ups,
you just want to set selling rates, add basic terms, and submit,
the scope is straightforward (e.g., residential renovation, standard services).
Choose Estimate-based if you need resource-level costing and margins; choose Standard/Scheduled if your organisation prices from a rate library or WBS.
Prerequisites
An Enquiry that already has BOQs (added from WBS or uploaded).
Appropriate Currency/Tax settings for the Enquiry.
Optional: your company’s Terms & Conditions text.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to create an "Easy Quote" from within an enquiry, based on the actions shown in the video.
The process begins by navigating from the main "Preconstruction" dashboard to a specific "Prospect." From there, you will drill down into an enquiry and use the "Easy Quote" wizard. This multi-step wizard will guide you through adding line items and terms to generate a new draft quote.
From the main dashboard (Kanban view), locate the "Proposal" column.
Find and click on the "Prospect" card you wish to work with (in the video, the user clicks on "Prospect" with the name "OMNISVC-P0928").
On the "Prospect" detail page, click to expand the "Enquiries" section.
A list of enquiries will appear. Click the blue arrow icon on the right side of the enquiry you want to use (in the video, "Residential Construction").
On the "Enquiry" detail page, scroll down to the "Tender/RFP" section and click the "Quotes" tab.
Above the list of existing quotes, click the "Easy Quote" button.
This will launch a multi-step "Easy Quote" wizard.
You will be guided through a 5-step process.
Step 1: General
This screen shows basic information about the quote.
Pre-filled Data:
Customer: e.g., "OMNISVC-P0928 - Prospect"
Service Type: e.g., "Residential Construction"
Currency Code: e.g., "INR"
Action: Click the "Next" button.
Step 2: Location
This screen confirms the billing location.
Pre-filled Data:
Bill To: "Prospect"

Step 3: Line Items
This is where you will add the items for the quote.
Click the "Add Line Item" button.
A "Select Item" pop-up will appear. Use the search bar to find your item (e.g., "Cement").
Check the box next to the item you want to add.
Click the "Select" button.
The item will now appear in the "Line Items" list. Click into the "Quantity" field and type the desired amount (e.g., "10"). The "Amount" will update automatically.
Repeat this process for all items (in the video, the user adds "Cement" with a quantity of "10" and "Sand" with a quantity of "15").
Once all items and quantities are added, click the "Next" button.
Step 4: Terms
Here you can add notes and legal terms.
Data to be Entered:
Click into the "Invoice Notes" text box and type your notes (e.g., "Test Invoice Notes").
Click into the "Terms & Conditions" text box and type your terms (e.g., "Test T&C").
Action: Click the "Next" button.
Step 5: Review
This screen shows a complete summary of the quote, including the General, Location, Line Items, and Terms sections.
Review all the information to ensure it is correct.
Click the "Finish" button.
A success message will appear: "The Quote: [Your Quote Code] has been created/updated!"
Click "OK."
You will be returned to the "Quotes" tab for the enquiry. Your new quote will now be visible in the list with the status "DRAFT."
