2. Create Work Order

Creating a Work Order involves a 3 Step Process.

• Creating a Work Requisition :
  • A Work Requisition (WR) is site request for subcontractor resources. As a pre-condition the Work Items must have been defined and a budget for the Work Items created and approved.
  • Once a WR has been created it needs to be approved to proceed to the next step.
  • The process of creating a WR is:

• Create an RFP and circulate to vendors :
  • An approved WR is copied over into a RFP (Request for Proposal) and circulated to vendors.
  • Offers from Vendors are recorded and the most suitable offer selected.
  • The process of creating an RFP and recording offers is:

• Create Work Order :
  • From the selected offer a Work Order is created. The Work Order is then approved by the appropriate authority.
  • The Subcontractor can begin work once the Work Order has been approved.
