Step 1. Directions to the Saiwai-cho Campus, Kagawa University (香川大学幸町キャンパスへの案内)
Walk to the Saiwai-cho Campus from the JR Takamatsu Station, if you are taking a JR train. (The JR Showa-cho Station is nearer, but not many trains stop there.) It takes about 20 minutes (see the routes on the Google map below).
If you do not want to walk,
take a taxi or
get a rent-a-cycle at the station (the Google map below shows where to pick or return the bicycles).
Users of the Airport Bus can get off at the Kenchodori Chuokoenmae bus stop (shown in the Google map below) and walk to the campus. It is less than 15 minutes' walk. If you are taking a taxi from a bus stop, you can get off at the Kawaramachi Tenmaya bus stop.
JR 線を利用して香川大学幸町キャンパスに来たいなら，JR 高松駅から大学まで歩くといい．(最寄りの JR 駅は「JR 昭和町駅」だが，停車する列車が少ないこともあって利用者は限られている．通学者・通勤者の多くは JR 高松駅から徒歩で大学に通う．) 高松駅から大学までは徒歩で20分ていど (以下の Google マップにしめした)．
高松駅から歩くのが面倒なら，
タクシーを利用するか，
駅前広場から高松市のレンタサイクルで来るのもいい．(以下の Google マップに返却場所をしめした)．
駅からバスもあるらしい．(私は乗り方を知らない．)
空港から高松空港リムジンバスを利用する場合，もよりバス停は「中新町」または「県庁通り中央公園前」となる (以下の Google マップにしめした)．そこから大学までは徒歩で15分以下．バス停からタクシーを使うならば，瓦町天満屋バス停で降りてもいいだろう．

Finding the Main Building of the University Library should be easy, once you have arrived at the Saiwai-cho North Campus.

H. Reiju Mihara's office is in the penthouse (the north part of the 4th floor) of the Library (the right hand side when facing the main entrance).
See the floor plan below or the one on pages 6-7 of the User's Guide (pdf; Japanese).
You need to use the stairs in the northwest corner (or the southwest corner) to get to the 4th floor.
三原麗珠オフィス (研究室) は図書館4階北ペントハウスにある (図書館正面から見れば右端)．
下の平面図または図書館利用のしおり (pdf) の 6-7頁にある平面図を参照．
正面から見て右奥の北西階段 (あるいは左奥の南西階段) を使わなければ4階には行けない．
3.a. A tour guide for the Library users (図書館利用者のための訪問ガイド)
If you can leave the building from the 2nd-floor main entrance after visiting the office, then follow the guide in this section. It applies to most regular users of the library (e.g., students or faculty members of the university), provided that they can leave the building within the service hours. If you are a visitor who do not plan to use the library, you may skip to Step 3.b.
オフィス訪問後に2階の正面出入口から出れる場合は，このガイドにしたがうとよい． (香川大学の学生や教員など) 図書館を通常利用する者が開館時間内に退出できるような場合，このセクションのガイドが該当する．図書館を利用しない訪問者は，Step 3.b のガイドに進んでよい．
Overview . Enter the building from the main entrance on the 2nd floor. Go to the northwest stairs (in the one o'clock direction from the entrance). Go up the stairs to the 4th foor. The office is near the end of the hallway.
概略 ．図書館2階正面の利用者入口から入る．右奥の北西階段を目指す．階段を4階まで上る．廊下の最後付近にオフィスがある．
A step-by-step guide follows．(以下はステップごとのガイド．)
Enter the building from the main entrance on the 2nd floor. It is accessible from the stairs in front of the library. (図書館正面外部にある階段を上って，2階の利用者用出入口から入る．)
If you are a visitor, get a permit for entering at the circulation desk. (外部からの訪問者はカウンターで仮入館証を受け取る．)
Go straight forward and turn right just after you pass the audio-visual corner. (直進して視聴覚資料コーナーのすぐ向こうを右折する．)
After a few steps, turn left. You can now see the way to the northwest stairs. (数歩のちに左に曲がる．目の前は北西階段への通路になってる．)
Walk to the stairs. (階段まで歩く．)
Ascend the stairs to the 4th floor (4階まで階段を上る．)
When you arrive at the 4th floor as in the picture, turn left into a hallway. The lights will come on automatically. (4階に着いたら，ここを左に曲がって廊下に向かう．灯りは自動的に点灯する．)
Mihara's office is on the left side, near the end of this hallway. (三原オフィスはこの廊下の終わり付近の左手にある．)
On the way to the office, you see the stack room in the picture on the right hand side. But go straight forward without turning right. (途中で右手に写真の書庫が見えるが，そちらに曲がらないで直進すること．)
This is the right direction. (正しい方向はこちら．)
After a few steps, you see the office door on the left. (数歩進むと左手にオフィスのドアがある．)
Looking back the hallway gives you this view. (今来た廊下を振り向けばこうなる．)
Make sure you are at the right door and knock hard on it. (正しいドアの前に来たことを確認して，激しくノックする．)
When the door opens, the office looks like this---no, the picture was taken while I was moving in. (ドアを開けばこんな感じ．ウソ，これは引越中の写真．)
When you look back at the door, it looks like this. (ドアを振り返ればこんな感じ．)
Here are a few pictures of the office. You find desks too ugly for a library. (オフィスの写真をいくつか．図書館にしては醜いデスクが並ぶ．)

To leave the building after visiting the office, go down the stairs to the 2nd floor. (オフィスを訪れたあとに退館するときは，階段を2階まで降りる．)
Leave the library from the main entrance while you can (for most people, during the service hours). Otherwise, the entrance and exit management system will give you a warning. ( 利用者出入口から 時間内に退出すること．そうしないと入退管理システムから警告を受けることになる．)

If you cannot leave the building from the main entrance after visiting the office, then you can follow the guide in this section with my permission .
オフィス訪問後に正面出入口から出られない学生その他の訪問者は， 私が認めたばあい ，このセクションのガイドに従ってよい．
You may want to call me before entering the library. Public phones are located outside the (coop) building in front of the library. (入館前に私に電話したければ，図書館前の生協の入っている建物の外にある公衆電話を利用できる．)
Enter the library from the staff-only entrance on the 1st floor. You can see a notice like this: (1階正面の職員出入口から図書館に入ると，以下のような案内が見える．)
Turn right and find the staff-only stairs on the right. (右を向くと職員専用階段が右手に見える．)
Go up the stairs to the 3rd floor, open the door on the forward right. (職員階段を3階まで上って，ちょっと右手にあるドアを開ける．)
Go through the reading room to the stairs in the northwest corner. The stairs are in the one o'clock direction from the door. (閲覧室を通って北西階段に向かう．階段はさっきのドアから見れば1時の方向にある．)
Go to the 4th floor and follow the guide in Step 3.a. (あとは4階に進んで Step 3.a のガイドにしたがえばいい．)
When you leave the building after visiting the office, you had better use the same entrance as you used when entering. (Do not use the 2nd-floor main entrance anyway, if you didn't use it to enter the building.) You should normally go back to the staff-only stairs through either 3rd floor or 2nd floor reading rooms. ( Do not go down the northwest or the southwest stairs to the first floor. The staff-only stairs are not accessible from there.) ( オフィスを訪れたあとに退館するときは，原則として入ったときと同じ出入口を使うこと ．[2階正面の利用者出入口から入らなかったときは，その出入口から出ないこと．] 原則として3階または2階の閲覧室を通って職員用階段を使うことになる．[ 北西階段または南西階段を1階まで下りないこと． そこから職員用階段には通じていない．])
When the staff-only entrance is closed, I will (give you instructions to) help you get out of the building. (職員用出入口が閉じている時間は，私が図書館から出る手助けをする．)
