Classwork/Homework - Wednesday, June 3

Please bring your Religion book to zoom class today.  We will also be reviewing the vocabulary words from Theodore Roosevelt: The Adventurous President.  You may bring your list with you if you would like.  Here is today's work:

1.  SeeSaw - Please post your ELA sheet and your Science sheet to SeeSaw.  

2.  ELA - Review your vocabulary words for a quiz tomorrow.  Look through the Theodore Roosevelt book to find the many sidebars throughout the book.  Then do the ELA sheet below.

3.  Phonics - Do page 248 to practice working with our high frequency words of the week.

4.  Spelling - Write each of these words three times and use each in a sentence.

5.  Religion - Please bring your Religion books to our Zoom class.  We will be reviewing chapter 22 and doing pages 522 and 523 together.

6.  Math - Today you will be learning about angles.  Do pages 522 and 523 in your big math book.  (You do not have to do the "hot" problems on page 523.)

7.  Science/Grammar - Do page 4 of the "Butterflies Are Back!" scholastic news.  Then do the sheet below and post your work to SeeSaw.  Then follow this link to get on to the Scholastic news teacher page.  Here I would like you to extend the lesson and also practice your grammar skills by playing the game called "Fly, Butterfly!"   https://sn2.scholastic.com/issues/2019-20/050120.html

Just for Fun:  Only three students went on to Raz Kids today as I suggested you do for fun.  Maybe you'd like a coloring sheet for fun today?  Here is a mandala butterfly for you to color.
