Classwork/Homework - Monday, June 8

Happy Monday!  See you all on Zoom today at 11:30.  Please bring your phonics book and your math book with you to our class.  Here is today's work:

1.  SeeSaw - Please post the answer sheet from your ELA assignment to SeeSaw today.  

2.  ELA - Today you will be reading a short story taken from our Sleuth book.  Read "A Few Good Words" from the sheet below and then answer the questions on the second sheet.  Below you will also find the vocabulary words for our next reading selection "Marching with Aunt Susan".  Please begin to go over the words.

3.  Phonics - This week we will be looking at the sounds made when ou and ow come together.  Please bring your phonics book to our Zoom class today so that we can do page 257 together.

4.  Spelling - Write each of these words three times and use each in a sentence.

                    about            blouse            clown            count            flour

5.  Religion - Today we will begin chapter 23 of our religion book.  Read and complete pages 260 and 261 to see how Catholics belong to parish communities.  

6.  Math - This week we will begin our work on dividing shapes into equal parts.   Please bring your math book to Zoom class.  You will also need a pencil, a red crayon and a blue crayon.

7.  Social Studies - Please log in to BrainpopJr and do the assignment posted.  You will be watching a video and taking a short quiz about Susan B. Anthony.  This video will help you to better understand the ELA story we will begin tomorrow.
