Classwork/Homework - Friday, March 27

Post date: Mar 27, 2020 3:46:21 AM

Happy Friday!  Thank you for all of your hard work this week!  Miss you all!

1.  ELA - Good job logging on to Pearson Realize and completing the assignments I posted.  I have received selection tests from 13 out of 16 students.  If you have not completed the test because  you are having trouble logging in please let me know.  If you log into your account today you will see the grade you received on the test.  Today's assignment is to think about the two stories we read "Alexander, Who Used to Be Rich Last Sunday" and "A Chair for My Mother".  Write about the characters and events in each story by completing the sheet attached.

2.  Phonics - Read the passage on page 169 of the phonics book.  (You do not need to print out the sheet unless you'd like to.)  Then, on looseleaf or in a notebook, write what you learned about making your own cards.

3.  Spelling - Test yourself on this week's words by doing the "Test Me" activity on Spelling City.  Follow this link:

4Math - Today we will take a little break from subtraction.  Do the attached three digit addition sheet.  Then log on to Freckle and do the short assignment I posted.  You may also so some math facts practice if you'd like.

5.  Religion - Read pages 200 and 201.  Answer these two questions on looseleaf or in your notebook.

What do we learn by listening to the Gospel?

        What is a homily?

6.  Science - I hope you were all able to finish the Animal Studies - Spiders unit.  Review the work by doing the two sheets attached.  Then view the video one more time and complete the "Draw What You Saw" sheet.

7.  Just for Fun:  Did you enjoy learning about spiders?  Finish your spider unit with a spider word search and coloring sheets just for fun.
