Post date: May 28, 2020 1:55:57 AM

Today is bring a friend to Zoom day.  See you all at 11:30.  Here is today's work:

1.  SeeSaw - Please post your ELA sheet to SeeSaw today.  You will also be doing your religion assignment on SeeSaw.

2.  ELA - We will be reading Chapter 7 of our Theodore Roosevelt book at our Zoom class today.  After class, please complete the ELA sheet below and post it to SeeSaw.

3.  Phonics - Do page 236 to practice working with our high frequency words of the week.

4.  Spelling - Write each of these words three times and use each in a sentence.

                        but            each            fly            here            kind

5.  Religion - Today you will be reading about how priests serve God by serving others.  Read page 252.  On page 253 you are asked to draw a thank you card for a parish priest.  I think it would be very nice if you would make your card for Father Jerome.  Then record yourself showing your card and reading it as if you are reading it to him.  I will try to put all of the videos together in a video message for Father Jerome.

6.  Math - Today we will begin a new topic in Math called Geometry.  First, we will be talking about Solid Shapes.  Please go to BrainPop Jr to watch a video and take an easy quiz.  Then do pages 510 to 512 in your big math book.

7.  Science - Today you will find below a coloring sheet about the Life Cycle of a Butterfly.  You will also find a Butterfly Booklet for you to make just like the frog booklet we made.  This will be due on Monday.  Please do not post it before then.  On Monday, you will be asked to record yourself telling me what you learned about the butterfly life cycle.  Our work with butterflies will continue into next week.

Just For Fun:  Below there is a sheet for you to learn another capital letter in cursive writing.  It's the capital letter Q.  Doesn't it look like a fancy number 2?
