I hope you all had a nice weekend. Here is some important information about this week.
The "My Book About Martin Luther King, Jr" assignment is due today.
The children will be taking several tests this week including a math test and a reading selection test. For those two tests the children will have the option of taking a paper test or a test on the respective websites.
It is time for a new math packet to be made. The children who are coming to school can bring their big math book and I will put together the Chapter 4 packet for them. Those children at home can work right in their big math book or attempt to put together their own packet.
I will also be handing out a new ELA packet this week to use as we begin working on a new story next week. Children working at home can request a packet to be picked up at school or I can continue to post the work from the packet on the class page or on SeeSaw.
During the week of January 25, the children will be taking standardized tests called the MAP tests. The tests are taken on a computer. The children in the gold cohort attending school will be taking the test in school and the rest of the children will be taking the test from home. More information about the test and how it will be administered will follow soon.
Last call for January Scholastic book club orders. They were due by Friday, January 15, but I am extending the due date until tomorrow.
Here is the work for today. The work can also be found on SeeSaw.
