Crowning of the Blessed MotherSunday, May 8, 1:00 PM

All are invited.  We ask that you come to the parking lot between 12:45 and 12:55 and remain in your cars to maintain social distancing.

I hope that many of you will be able to attend the May crowning on Sunday!  Here is today's work:

1.  SeeSaw - Please log on to SeeSaw and follow the directions for the two assignments posted.

2.  ELA -  Log on to SeeSaw to hear the rest of the story, "I Wanna Iguana".  Then complete the ELA page below.  You will be using the next two vocabulary words (responsible, financial) in sentences and you will respond to the story.  The work can be done on the sheet.

3.  Phonics - Read the story "A Roar at the Door!"  Then on looseleaf or in a notebook write what you learned about Rob, the main character of the story.

4.  Spelling - Unscramble the spelling words and then write the correct spelling of each of the words of the week on the line.

5.  Religion - Do the Chapter 19 test on page 230.

6.  Math - Do pages 361 - 364.  As you are doing the problems be sure to draw the bills and coins to help you get your answer.

7.  Science - Go back to the Scholastic at Home website (Grades 1-2, Week 3, Day 14) to watch the video "From Tadpole to Frog".

Just a reminder:  Today is Music day.  Check out Ms. Parziale's class page for a music activity.

Just for Fun:  This is an activity that I think you should all do!  This Sunday is Mother's Day.  Here are two sheets that you can give to your Mom on her special day.

Happy Mother's Day to all of you wonderful Mothers!  Enjoy your day!
