November book logs are due tomorrow.  

School is closed on Friday, December 2.

Picture retake is next week, December 7.  Please send me a note or email if your child will be having his or her picture retaken.

Our Christmas show will be on Wednesday, December 14.  The second grade will be presenting the Nativity scene.  Costumes will be provided and given out to the children in school.  The costumes will not be coming home.  Children are to wear light-weight, light-colored clothing under the costumes on the night of the show.  

Mrs. Arena has given the children an assignment to enter the CYO Christmas Card Contest.  The theme is Holiday Lights AND Family Holiday Traditions.  This is an assignment and not optional.  Here is the information:

Entries must be original on paper 8 1/2 X 11 or larger.  Do not fold the paper in half.  You may use canvas, oaktag or illustration board.  Entries can be 3D.  Lights and glitter can be added for special effects.  Do not fold the paper in half.

All entries must include on the back:  Child's full name, school, grade, and parent's cell and email.  All work is due no later than December 13th.   Artwork will not be returned.
