Classwork/Homework - April 2

Post date: Apr 02, 2020 3:31:40 AM

Hope you will all have a good day!  Here is  your work:

1.  ELA - Today is the last day we will be working with the books and characters from this Module of ReadyGen.  When we come back from our Easter Break we will be starting a brand new text! I would like you to think again about Alexander and the Girl from our stories.  You may want to look back at what you wrote on Monday about each character's point of view about money.  Today you will be writing a narrative - a short story about a character and something that happens to him or her.  Write your narrative on a piece of paper or in a notebook.  Here are the directions:  Choose Alexander or the girl.  Pretend that the character was given some money.  Begin your paragraph by telling who gave the character the money and how much.  Then write a few sentences to tell what the character did with that money.   Keep in mind your character's point of view about money as you write.

2.  SeeSaw - Today's assignment on SeeSaw is to try to read the narrative you wrote for ELA to me.  You will probably need your parents help to figure out how to do this.  You can just record your voice or you can have your parents take a video of you.

3.  Phonics - Read the story and answer the questions on page 176.

4.  Spelling - Do the Missing Letter sheet for this week's consonant + le words.

5.  Religion - This Sunday we celebrate Palm Sunday.  Watch this video to learn more about Palm Sunday.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTmbTuutBgg

Then create a picture for the "Jerusalem News" on the sheet below.

6.  Math - Do the Review Test on pages 321 to 324.  Be prepared for a Math test on Chapter 6 on Friday.

7.  ELA/Science - Please complete the Earth Science - Weather unit.

Just For Fun:  Try a new Palm Sunday themed word game.
