Week of September 20

School pictures will be taken for class 2-1 on Thursday, October 6.  Picture order forms were sent home today.  On line ordering is now available. 

A reading log was also sent home today.  Please read at least 10 minutes each night and record on the reading log.

Math homework, done in the Standards Practice Book, begins tonight.

The children will begin to have Penmanship homework this week also.

As discussed at our parent meeting I am going to be collecting several items from the children.  These include a folder (to send tests and other sheets home each week), a grade 3 notebook (with dotted lines), and headphones.

Please send in the Scholastic News/Class Dues fee ($20) at your earliest convenience.  Thanks to those who already sent it in.

Scholastic Book Club orders are due by next Wednesday, September 28.

Don't forget about this Thursday's Back to School/School Spirit Dress Down Day. Students must send in $3.00 to participate.
