Classwork/Homework - March 31

Post date: Mar 31, 2020 3:51:17 AM

Thank you all so much for your responses to my letter and for trying to log into the three websites and programs I asked you to check out yesterday.  I understand there were some problems logging in to some of the sites including the ReadyGen site.  I think the internet was just a little overloaded yesterday!  If you were not successful yesterday, please try again today.  Remember to email me with comments and questions.  Here is today's work:

1.  Log in to SeeSaw and look for my announcement.  Please take a minute to answer the question by typing a note to me.  This note will be my way of taking attendance today.

2.  ELA - Think about the two main characters, Alexander and the Girl, from the stories we have been reading.  Think about their points of view about money.  Do the characters know how to save money?  Do they spend their money wisely?  Do they work to make money?  Now,  fill in the T-Chart attached to write about each character's point of view.  Use evidence from the text to support your writing.

3.  Phonics - Do the word sorting activity on page 177 of your phonics book.

4.  Spelling - Write these words three times each and use each in a sentence.

        kettle        middle        needle        puddle        steeple

5.  Religion - Do the Project Disciple pages for Chapter 17 - pages 204 and 205.

6.  Math - Practice three digit subtraction with zeros by doing pages 151 and 152 in the skinny math book.  Review the video from yesterday if necessary.

7.  ELA/Science - Continue working on the Earth Science - Weather unit.

Just For Fun:  Use this week's spelling words in an on-line word search on Spelling city.
