I feel this year has changed me more than most. It was my first year at a new school and I enjoyed it. I experienced different things and those had an impact on me. I think I have changed both as a student and a Canadian. I have learned so much this year about Canadian history and visited many places, ICE has shifted my perspective on many things. Grade nine has also been a learning curve for me as I work on my responsibility and organization skills. An example of a way I have changed as a Canadian would be our trip to Regent Park. I got to see a completely different side of Toronto then I am used to and that changed some of my views. During the COVID-19 outbreak, I learned to be more organized and started cleaning out my email and following a routine as well as making a schedule. These experiences have changed me as a person, as I see more of Toronto through the ICE field trips I feel I became more sympathetic and open-minded because I see more and more of the world. ICE has been a truly amazing experience and I am feeling a bit melancholy that I will no longer be able to take this course next year.
