The newest case in the detective’s office left him concerned and almost terrified. According to the case file, a teenage boy had robbed a factory that canned beans, and despite witnesses saying he had performed the heist solo, he had stolen at least 15,000 cans of beans. How could he have accomplished this incredible feat, had he been working solo? This is the mystery of beans. Forensics found 2 sets of fingerprints, so he must have had an accomplice. To find an accomplice for bean robbing at 3 am wasn't the hardest task, but successfully carrying out 15,000 cans baffled the detective. There was simply no window of time someone could sneak into a factory and get out with 15000 cans of beans, and even if so, why?? After paying a visit to a local high school and observing the huge and often strange appetites of teenage boys, he decided that it wasn’t completely unreasonable to conclude that the thief was just doing some extremely advanced meal prep. The how part was more sinister. Every wednesday night, the boys football team would gather around and eat thousands of cans in one sitting....the newest members on the team were in charge of finding the beans. When asked about his knowledge of the heist, team captain Chad Chadwick is rumored to have said, “Me and the boys at two am looking for beans” before naruto running down the field. If anyone has any knowledge on the Mystery of Beans, they are asked to come forward.
