An officer may ask for a case number to a call you just closed out, you do not have to “re open the call” you can assign it to a closed call in these simple steps:
TYPE RA (MAIN RADIO LOG SCREEN) IN YOUR COMMAND LINE, SEARCH IN THAT SCREEN BY THE OFFICERS RADIO NUMBER IN THE ‘UNIT’ FIELD, THEN HIT ACCEPT.
HIT LIST TO SHOW THE LIST OF THE OFFICERS CALLS IN THEIR RADIO LOG.
FROM THIS LIST, FIND THE “CHARLIE” NUMBER (C8937171) DOUBLE CLICK ON THE CALL YOU NEED TO ASSIGN THE CASE TO.
ONCE BACK ON THE MAIN RADIO SCREEN - CHOOSE “VIEW” THIS WILL ALLOW YOU TO VIEW DIFFERENT FIELDS WITHIN THIS SCREEN
IN THIS CASE IT IS FIELD 11 THE “CALL ID” FIELD THAT YOU WILL WANT TO VIEW/ACCESS
FROM THE NEXT SCREEN, YOU WILL CHOOSE “HIST”
THE NEXT SCREEN WILL BE WHERE YOU WILL ASSIGN THE INCIDENT (CASE) NUMBER - INCI - THERE WILL BE A DROP DOWN MENU, BE SURE TO CHOOSE UVPD AS THE AGENCY TO ENSURE THE CORRECT AGENCY CASE NUMBER IS ASSIGNED
