AC
Inputting calls (not originated by an officer) are done by using the AC command.
OSC
A request may be made over the radio for a case to be started. First, in the command line type OSC (on-site call)_Unit #_Nature.Address.Plate.Notes. Or you can type OSC and hit enter, the Onsite Call Command screen will pop-up. Fill in the appropriate information in the on-site call screen and hit enter. The call will appear on the screen with the appropriate officer assigned.
TS

MC
Modify call - add rp/complainant info to existing call, etc.
AT and MT
Adding and Modifying types to a call can be done from the Command Line. The AT and MT commands will allow Incident Types to each be different for the same call, and potentially have different addresses as well.

Create key shortcuts by going to File > Configure > CAD Keypad. Like entering "ts 28A" every time you hit the "-" key so your traffic stops get entered even faster. I'd only recommend setting shortcuts for the + and - keys, since we use the rest of the number pad. Any shortcuts you set here will only be attached to that number pad + or - keys. if you use the "-" above all the letter keys, it will still allow you to type "-".
DR A ORPD adds orem to your screen
DR R SUPER to see all the county's calls vs. DR R UVPD to see only ours
If the usage line is using [brackets], that information is required. If it is using {braces}, then that information may or may not be required depending on the situation.
The pipe (|) is that punctuation on top of Enter, but below Backspace. The pipe says “choose one of these things”.
The (.) Period: Stop or Break. Is used to skip ahead or skip past pieces of syntax. The period also is used at the end of commands to say “I don’t want a popup box”.
The (*) Wildcard: When you throw a search party, the * makes things Wild! It says one of 4 things:
1. I know YAB* is true, find me the things that come after YAB. (searches for AFTER the *)
2. I know *SKI is the end of the name, but I don’t know what comes first. (searches BEFORE the*)
3. I don’t know much, but I know the comments were about a *DOG* (I don’t know where *DOG* is, but I know its there somewhere)
4. It was a *FOSTER*DOG*, but I don’t know if it was “FOSTER DOG” or a “DOG that was being FOSTERed”, and searches out both terms.
