If you get an officer asking to check an individual's access to a door, make sure you check by UVID, Name, and look in the list to see if their name shows up on a door they have recently opened. Amanda was able to find 3 separate lenel access accounts for an indiv by searching the badge ID number from a door they had opened.
LENELL SYSTEM
SIGN ON > User name: dispatch pw: 911dvr
CLEAR SCREEN > go to edit and select delete all - Have employee swipe their card at the door so you can see if they are permitted access and to see what door they need you to open
OPEN DOORS ON LENELL > Locate the door you wish to open on System Status Tree (4th tab along the top) – Right Click on the Door > Scroll down to the Reader access modes > Right Click on Unlocked > A box will pop up that indicates access mode was successfully sent – Look on map and make sure the door is not
LOCATE OUTSIDE DOORS > Go to Device Group (6th tab along the top -this also houses maps of Airport – Aviation – Events Center – Student Life)
LOCK DOORS ON LENELL > Go to Reader Access Modes > Right Click > Change option to CARD ONLY ACCESS if it is not set on this option
SEARCHING FOR FACULTY/STAFF > Go to Lenell alarm monitor > Click on View > Click on Badge Info > a new screen will pop up > Click on Search > Go to the top of the screen and type on the last name, first name.
Under photo of employee it will show where the employee is allowed to use their proximity card > a good backup sustem to check for faculty/staff is to look in the UVU links UVSC.edu/directory and UVSC.edu/directory/campusdir.php or UVSC.edu/profpages
ACTIVE SHOOTER LENNEL – locking PROX DOORS if requested by SGT or OIC – on the bottom tabs there is a tab that says device groups in that tab there is a section that says “ALL DOORS” right click on tab – it will bring up the options -Click on “SECURE ALL” or under reader access modes click “LOCKED”
