Occasionally the camera computers have updates and will restart for these updates on their own.
To log back in and get cameras up and running:
You will need to move the Bluetooth USB receiver to the correct computer tower in the backroom, either "PDCAMSTN1" or "PDCAMSTN2". There is a dedicated keyboard and mouse for the monitors on the main wall in dispatch.
Log in to the computer. Username should already be filled in. For cameras 1&2, the password will be UvupDc@m1 and for cameras 3&4 password is UvupDc@m2.
Milestone usually self-launches, but it will only bring up one set of cameras. You will need to first get it out of full-screen mode so you can move it to the other screen. Then open the program a second time.
Select which "wall" (view) you want that set of cameras to be (see picture below).

LICENSE PLATE READER
Did you know we had a License Plate Reader stationary on campus? You can access it!
The camera is located at the crosswalk between the Library and the Institute parking lot.
In the Milestone camera program, click the tab labeled LPR. Now enter the license plate number in the search field and change the "Last hour" dropdown to 'All'. Boom, you just searched through everyone who has ever driven on the road in front of the Library during daylight hours. Test it out by searching for your own vehicle or one of the department's (like 104 - it reads that number instead of the plate number).
If the LPR is down or you get an error message - contact Steve Dohner 801-863-8491 or TEAMS chat
