Backstory

Born in the family of Jade and Jasper, whose family members names followed gemstone names, she was named Pearl, a precious Space/Water Elemental Holder to perfectly match her name. She was highly treasured by her parents, but as time went on, they wanted to get a second child, leading to Diamond, who is the new younger daughter of the two. As such, it made Pearl feel obsolete and depressed. As time went on, Pearl felt herself more distant from her mother. But her father would always still cherish her and care for her. Jasper saw Pearl as the favored daughter, as Diamond slowly grew more and more spoiled. But Jade refuses to acknowledge her own daughter as she valued Diamond more. Pearl worried it was due to the weight she had been putting on through recent years, and this caused her even more anxiety and to eventually let loose. This made Jade look past Pearl more, while Diamond often bullied her for how she looked, leaving Jasper as the only one to care for her, as well as Georges, one of her only childhood friends.

Physical appearance

Fitting to her name, Pearl is an extremely plump girl with a beige skintone. She wears a large turquoise shirt with golden shoulder pads, as well as tight blue pants. Her hair is long and dirty blonde wrapped in a ponytail held together by a hair clip with turquoise and orange feathers. Her eyes are a soothing, ocean blue, and are complimented well by the gorgeous, shiny pearl earrings and necklaces she wears, as well as the bracelet with a pearl incased in it. She stands at 5'07".

Personality

As her past has taken a toll on her, Pearl has nowadays been far more reserved of who she talks to. She stressed out when having to interact with people and worries she will be judged. If noticed, she will often blush or hide herself as best as she can, but as long as she is convinced enough, she will slowly warm up to a person. However, the person approaching her has to put a lot of dedication to gaining her trust, as once she trusts you, she will be a very faithful woman and will require the same. If Pearl accepts you as a friend, she will not make you regret your decision. She hates receiving hugs, as her figure makes herself cautious and she fears she will suffocate them with her gut, but once warmed up to, she will give the warmest, softest hugs in the world. The few people who ever have been hugged by Pearl described it as "Feeling protected" or "Being so warm they could melt of joy".

Due to her long years with lack of interaction, she is extremely clingy to those who show they care enough and that she is worthy. However, despite all the things bothering her and holding her back from living the life she wants, she is an amazing cleaner. She does not let her large figure hold her back, as she always remains active and organized. She is the primary person doing all of the chores around her house, as it helps her feel useful. And she occasionally goes out for walks. Her favorite location is a beachside, where she can sit and gaze upon the ocean.
