Backstory

Maribelle is a strange woman, as she was born seemingly normal, but when she turned 5, no matter what she ate, she never felt full. She then realized her hair growing rapidly from then on, and they seemed to have a mind of their own. It would strangely eat her food without her getting any and pleading her for a feast. She felt quite hungry the majority of her life as a result. This made her a challenging person to take care of, as you'd need to care for her, and her ever-hungry hair. She has grown somewhat cold hearted from then on, only caring to feed the hunger within her. She will do just about anything to eat.

While Maribelle has it rough with this, she does feel happy she doesn't have to eat rice. It is her least favorite food, but whenever rice is on the table, her hair immediately tackles it and steals it for themselves, meaning she does not have to eat it and her hair can be content, as it is their favorite food. Scientists around her try to analyze this strange occurrence, wishing to learn more about her mysterious hair, but whenever anybody asides from Maribelle tries to touch her hair, the hair attacks relentlessly, even if she scolds her own hair to stop. Slowly, overtime, she has begun to understand herself and her mysterious hair and its habits. She wishes someday she will be content with how she is, but for now, she just tries to get used to it. One thing is for sure, she always wishes she could be cutesy and adorable, but her hair is making it hard to be that way, but she tries to find ways to use this to her advantage.

Physical appearance

Maribelle is a 5'02" tall girl with a thin figure. She wears a white top and a red skirt, with the upper half somewhat resembling a kimono. She has a red ribbon in her somewhat short brown hair, hanging from her shoulder. The end of her hair is a sentient mouth with sharp teeth. She also has large and innocent red eyes and a beige skintone.

Personality

Maribelle from face on appears to be quite adorable and gentle, luring in people with her sweet and kind personality, but when someone gets too close, her hair usually attacks them. She often holds back her hair so that they can't strike them. People find it hard to approach her. On one hand, she is so inviting and cute, but if they get too close to her, they tend to feel some form of pain. So because of this dynamic, she tears up whenever someone leaves her because of that, but feel respected and blessed when one chooses to try over and over until they can reach out to her. When they put this effort and her hair gives up fending them off, she feels light as a feather and grateful. She just wishes someone would accept her for who she is and be able to bypass her hair being vicious, as she truly just wants a friend.
