Eris the Lost Child takes the appearance of the normal male child NPC, a short boy with short blonde hair, blue eyes and a beige skintone. He wears a white shirt and blue pants, too.
Eris is extremely timid and frightened over the smallest things. But upon seeing a normal human being, he will shift completely to being clingy, hoping for them to protect him.
Eris was found lost in the Lost Village a few days before the events of the game started. When spoken to, he will initially run away. As your character shouldn't be a Necromancer, he will ask you if he can join you, saying he doesn't live here and needs to get back home. From this point on, he will be in your party if you choose to accept. As his skillset is unimpressive and stat spread is quite low except for his splendid Speed and Stamina, he feels unable to hold his own in combat. If he gets KOed in combat, he will pass out and the party will return to the entrance of the Lost Village where he will wait for the party to be prepared to escort him once again.
An interaction will happen between Eris and Nova if she is in the party. She will ask him "Uh, you aren't from here? How did you even make your way to this village? You're just a child!", to which he will answer "I...I could ask you the same. You don't look much older than me." as Nova will look down and shake her head, responding "Grrr, fair enough."
When successfully escorting him outside of the Lost Forest, the village will be right outside of it, and he will thank the player before rushing off. When returning to this village and finding his home, his mother will walk up to the player, thanking them for finding her son, rewarding the player for their troubles.
