Intro

This project explores Spanish terms and vocabulary that generate misunderstandings for English-speaking learners. Through an interactive digital escape-room, this game places false cognates, culturally specific concepts, and words with multiple meanings inside short literary passages with multiple-choice answers. The correct answers unlock missing pieces of a virtual museum. The combination of literature and game-based learning helps students develop an appreciation for context and culture, while enjoying the process.
