Intro
This project outlines a unit of study for intermediate Spanish language learners which includes reading and analyzing Don Quijote de la Mancha, with the final product being a creative interpretation of one chapter of the novel. After learning the cultural and literary foundation of the text, students are given creative license to interpret a chapter in nearly any way they choose. Their interpretations is then presented in a film-festival like setting, followed by discussion panels where students put themselves and classmates in conversation with the text and interpretations.
