Intro

Fairytales are an essential part of German culture. From their childhood on, many Germans hear stories about "Rumpelstilzchen, Aschenputtel und Rotkäppchen", and those fairytales are being reproduced all over the world, for example by Disney and in books like “The Blue Fairy Book” in the U.S. The “Grimm Brothers” had a huge impact on German fairytale culture writing most of them, which is why their stories are the perfect source to learn more about German language and culture in earlier days. This project is supposed to introduce students in Intermediate II or higher to German fairytales by including translations, films and quizzes.
