Meet my culture: Argentina

This project investigates ways to learn about foreign cultures to American students using online tools. We created an online immersive experience to make some aspects of the German and Argentinian culture more accessible. Using stories, vocabulary games such as hangman and crosswords, videos, maps and other elements we’ve created a more friendly and motivating environment to learn language and culture.

With this project, we are offering to the students a way to practice their language skills, make connections between aspects of American culture and the one presented in the activities, and broaden their worldview. We expect this to be an ongoing project. We are excited for our project to grow further. We are looking forward to collaborations and the new material that can be created and more topics that can be discovered together.

Projects like these are especially important in the difficult times that we are facing as it is not possible to travel and explore as much as we usually do. This project is a way for people to leave their countries while staying on their couches or beds or wherever they like to be.
