Intro
With a website as a medium, this project illustrates how music can be used in the classroom by borrowing from the frameworks in Principles of Communicative Language Teaching and Task-Based Instruction as well as studies that relate to cognitive connections between language acquisition. Each song will be paired with an explanation of what skill it pertains to, and an example of an activity associated with it. This website will be a tangible artifact that will assist educators in incorporating music into the classroom and proving that music-based tasks can be rich, meaningful and effective.
