Cinematic Poems

Intro

Cinematic Poems is a website for advanced Spanish learners that aims to collect poems in Spanish that have appeared in international movies, such as the Dylan Thomas poem in Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar. A written version of the text is available, both in Spanish and English, as well as the embedded clip of the movie where the poem is read aloud. On the website, students find easy step-by-step activities to help them read, understand, and creatively translate back the poem from Spanish into English.
