Bilingual Education in Tibet

Intro

The project seeks to investigate issues of bilingual education in Tibet, for local students who speak Tibetan learning Mandarin, from perspectives of education policy, bilingual textbooks, standardized curriculum and exam, challenges, and the development in the future. This research-based site focuses on the area of bilingual education in minority community, borderland education, and education policy in rural areas.
