The imaging principle and the function of the refractors

Audio Guide:

A telescope is consisted of an eyepiece lens and an objective lens, which help to collect the light of distant objects. It magnifies the images through optical imaging, rendering the images clearer. The larger the diameter of the objective lens, the more light it collects, the brighter the images and the higher the resolution. It enables us to see farther and darker astronomical objects. It is why astronomical telescopes are getting larger in size.

Visitors can learn more about a telescope by operating the mechanical lenses.

Exhibit Introduction:

The visitors can operate lens modules to observe different imaging results of magnification, minification, both sides, and real and imaginary.
