Satellite orbit

Audio Guide:

Natural satellites are astronomical objects that orbit planets due to the planets’ gravity. Artificial satellites, on the other hand, are man-made for different functions and missions. Therefore, they need to be carried to designated orbits by rockets. When an artificial satellite reaches its designated height, it disconnects from the rocket and continues to orbit. When it is necessary, artificial satellites can also eject air to change or adjust their orbits.

Exhibit Introduction:

Selecting the touchscreen can know about differences of satellites on different orbits and the relation between the orbits and speed of artificial satellites.
