The Milky Way galaxy
The Milky Way galaxy
Audio Guide:
A fuzzy light belt can often be seen in the sky on a clear dark night. That’s our galaxy, the Milky Way, composed of tens of billions of stars. However, what we see with the naked eye is just how the Milky Way looks in visible light. The stars and other matter also emit radiation of other wavebands. To understand the Milky Way, we need to observe it with different wavebands.
Exhibit Introduction:
Use polygon wheels to display the image of the Milky Way observed in different bands.
