History of the earth

Earth was born from the original solar nebular filled with gas and interstellar dust about 4.6 billion years ago. After an extremely long period of development, the water sphere, atmosphere and biosphere gradually formed. Afterwards, Earth became what it looks like now after continuous crustal movements.


From the spherical projection of Earth, visitors can learn about the formation of the planet, its crustal movements, distribution of volcanoes and the formation of the Taiwan island.



Exhibit Introduction:

The exhibit uses the technique of large spherical projection with touchscreen, allowing the visitors to view the evolutionary history of earth and the basic introduction of plates.
