There has always been greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere; so the greenhouse effect is a natural phenomenon. However, after the Industrial Revolution, excessive human greenhouse gasses have been massively released into the atmosphere, and the rapid increase of carbon dioxide has intensified the greenhouse effect. As a result, Earth is like being wrapped up in a blanket, and the weather has just gotten warmer and warmer. The greenhouse effect not only raises the global average temperature, it also changes Earth’s previous balance and aggravates the climate change.
