This is a list of Projects I would like to do... Look through them and talk to me about one if it looks interesting...
This is a project where you will pick an Arduino or Raspberry Pi project. and we see if we can do it. I'll have a small budget that can be spent and I'll try to ship items to your house to do this...
This is a project where we could build a robot that could be controlled via a tele-presence... Talk to me about doing this... What might this project look like? Think building and controlling a "Mars Rover", or a camera or a camera on a robot that drove around campus... or really anything that you control over an app over the internet... like a remote candy or dog food dispenser... I want to build some robotic contraptions that are in our room but that can be controlled over the internet...
This is a project where you would write some HTML, JavaScript and eventually some PHP and some way to write a web page from a data base...
But the first part is just to write a JavaScript form to create an entry for a new event... I'm trying to automate this page --> Canvas page or some other upcoming calendar page
This is a project where you would:
First, Learn about Jupyter Notebooks
2nd, Work through and document some Tutorials
3rd, Create some Tutorial Labs for class
This is a project where you would research and then write some programming quiz / labs questions. Talk to me about this project.
This is a project where you would research and then write some short tutorials about a component. Kinda Like what we did for our Sensor Labs. The goal would be to create a "library" like https://sites.google.com/view/steam-clowns-closet/home/listbyalphabetical?authuser=0
Talk to me about this project
This is a project where you would research and then write some Electronics quiz / labs questions. Talk to me about this project.
I can have 2-3 teams to compete in Horizon Hydrogen Power cars. This is a project where 3-4 students teams will build, tune and evaluate the efficiency of a hydrogen powered race car. These are 1/10 scale remote control cars that you race on an "indi 500" track to see who can go the fastest, but in the most efficient way, using the least amount of battery and hydrogen fuel.
I can have 4 teams to compete in DIY Robo Cars. These can be teams of 2-3 students, who take a standard 1/10 scale RC car, replace the RC part with a Raspberry Pi or NVIDIA Jetson Nano micro computer and turn it into an Autonomous car that can drive a track after being trained as an AI
Build a Arduino or Raspberry Pi based Jeopardy Game controllers and 4-8 buttons. Attention must be paid to make sure the sensing of button pushes is as Random as possible... Maybe this should be a class lab... to see who's design is the most random and fair.
This project is to use a Arduino Nano and build a Servo tester... that can test 180 deg and 360 deg servos. I want this project to have a standard Servo connection and be able to either run a selected program, or use a Potentiometer to control the servo.
This project is to design a 3D Printed fixture that has the power connections and internal circuit to safely test an LED... probably is a printed "V" with foil tape to touch the LED legs to see if the LED is good.... could have small holes for the legs with foil tape at the bottom of the holes... what ever is a quick way to test LEDs
Come talk to me about this project. I want to make a setup where I can take quality photos of an object, without shadows... like a bread board with components, but no shadows... so have some LED lighting setup on a frame, with a camera.
Come talk to me about this project. This is a project to build test equipment to test some of the equipment. Probably mostly Arduino based.
Come talk to me about this project.
