Now that it is 2023, and Microsoft does not support Win7 any more, I'm working on an image from their manually downloaded updates... let's see if I can be successful.
Install a clean install of Win 11 & any Service Packs
Update with all Drivers
settings
screen Resolution - change to be highest
change icons to "medium"
update desktop options to show (computer, user files, network, recycle bin, control panel)
Control Panel --> Appearance and Personalization --> Folder Options --> Show hidden files
Display the full path
un-hide extensions
Create a Backup Save Point that is just a super clean Win 11 Install
Plan to have Following Users
Teacher ← Admin ← Password = <standred SVCYE teacher password>
AM_Student ← Password = learnAM
PM_Student ← Password = PMlearn
Shadow_Student ← Password = Shadow
(want to be able to clear user space back to a default) <-- can you create a script to reset this user to a pre-set user files
Workshop_Student ← Same access as AM/PM Students ← Password = learnWokshop
(want to be able to clear user space back to a default) <-- can you create a script to reset this user to a pre-set user files
Substitute ← Same access as AM/PM Students ← Password = Sub760
MicroSoft Office - Word, Exel, Powerpoint <-- SVCTE has a licnese, right?
Install latest version of Chrome ← Set this as the default go to browser
Install latest version of Firefox
Acrobat readers – (Is there a better PDF tools to install? Like Acrobat Pro?) Please take care to not install crap that Adobe is always trying to install…

Solid Works - Make sure the 2018 version (SVCTE bought) of the Solidworks tools are installed, and the license server is running

After installing the Arduino Desktop IDE (which you just did), then add the Intel Curie Core to it. This simple procedure is done selecting Tools menu, then Boards and last Boards Manager, as documented in the Arduino Boards Manager page.
