Issues With Google, Chrome, and other web issues

Stuff I would like Fixed...

This page is to document Issues, tricks, tips for navigating the intricacies of Google Sites and it's support of docs, links and other sundry stuff...  Ha Ha... Mostly it's a place I can vent on what I don't like, and what I would like fixed...

PDF File Links:

Watch Out: Your PDF file link changes if you overwrite a PDF file, or if you delete a PDF file and then upload a new PDF file of the same name. 

What seems to happen:

• If I put a PDF file in a Google Drive, and then get a shareable link and past that into a Google doc,  Power point, or other page and then in the process of updating the PDF file source and regenerating a new PDF file 

What I would like to see:

PDF files are downloading instead of displaying in web browser or opening in a new tab
