Introduction & Overview

This is the Big Class Project page where we are building Robots and Technology Projects that don't fall into a specific other category.

Streetlight Intersection:

This is a project where we are going to build a standard 4 way intersection with turn lanes on one direction.  The goal of this project it so create a working intersection where the road way can sense the presence of a car in the lane.  These sensor outputs will be conditioned and presented at a connection that can be read by an Arduino.  The intersection will have a working traffic light with straight and turn arrows.  It could also have pedestrian cross walk buttons.  Later it could have a license plate reader implemented in a Raspberry Pi or Jetson Nano.

The Robot Club Team will document the project in the Intersection Project Engineering Notebook, and eventually the Instructor will find some time to update this section with more information.
