There was a time
when we were together
every moment wasn't wasted
for time knew it not forever.
I could see the light
in your eyes
that so touched me
with your love.
You've been everything to me
and I thank Thee from above.
When you held me
in the night - I felt there
really was no end,
when you and I are with eachother
we need not pretend.
You actually caught me
by surprise
with those
tender loving eyes
They made me
so aware that
you really & truely cared.
If only there was a time
for us to share
to feel this warmth
together.
If only time was there
so we could live this love forever.
If only there were more people who
knew about this light
they care in spending time in making
everything alright.
But the truth will face our might
about those eyes with fiery light
and our hearts will go insane
because we can't listen to the rain.
There was a time
when we got torn apart.
It felt like stabbing
in my heart.
I thought that
we should try amends,
but your too scared to start again.
