Charlotte and Dick Seaman
You Will Need:
A Large Crock Pot
A Large Frying Pan
1 - 2 Tablespoons Canola Oil
1 Can Stewed Tomatoes
1 Large Onion, Chopped Fine
2-3 Cubed Steaks
Put together some flour, 1 - 2 eggs beaten,
and some milk in 3 separate bowls. This will
be very messy. Chop up the onion ahead of
time and set aside in a bowl. Take a steak
and dunk it in the milk, then the egg, then
the flour pressing firmly w/ hand or use a
wood mallet w/ perforations to hammer the
flour into the meat. As you do each piece,
set them on a separate plate as you do them.
After getting all gooey on your fingers and
hands, go ahead and rinse your hands and
dry them. Place the frying pan on the stove
and heat the pan on medium high not for long
or it can catch fire. Have the meat ready before
you turn on the oil in pan, just a word of suggestion
and caution to make it a good experience for you.
Brown the cubed steak with the flour pressed well
into both sides of the meat. If you have a wooden
perforated mallet, that works well to press the flour
into the meat. Add the browned meat to the crock
pot. Open the stewed tomatoes and cut them into
smaller bite-sized pieces into the crock pot. Add
the chopped onion and cook it on low for 3-4 hours.
You can add water to it but just a little bit.
This meal is a great meal for anyone who is having
problems chewing or who has sore teeth.
