375 degrees Serves 6 – 8
1 hr + 10 to 15 minutes
1 Jar (10 ½ oz) Beef Gravy, Divided
1 ½ Cups Cubed Day old bread (about 2 slices)
½ Fine Chopped Medium Onion
1 Extra Large Egg
2 Lbs Very Lean Ground Beef
1 Tube (8oz) refrigerated Crescent Rolls
In large bowl, combine ½ jar gravy, bread cubes,
onion & egg. Crumble beef over mixture & mix well.
Press in a greased (PAM) 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.
Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
Remove loaf from pan. Drain on paper towels.
Place loaf on greased (PAM) 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.
Unroll crescent rolls. Seal perforations. Cover top and
sides of meat loaf with dough. Trim excess. Bake 10 – 15
minutes longer or until pastry is golden brown. Heat
remaining gravy. Serve with meat loaf.
