275 Degree Preheated Oven
1 Lb Pecan Halves
1 Egg White, Beaten and Stiff
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
½ Cup Light Brown Sugar,
packed down hard
1 Tsp Cinnamon, Rounded
1 Tsp Allspice
1 Tsp Nutmeg
1 Tsp Ground Cloves
Use 2 cookie sheets with narrow
lip around edges. Line them with
wax paper. Spray with PAM or
similar canola spray.
1. Beat Egg Whites stiff in large bowl.
2. Add Vanilla, Brown Sugar and Spices.
Mix well, but gently.
3. Add Nuts. Place on prepared cookie sheets.
Separate with 3 forks so you make a single layer.
4. Bake about 30 – 35 minutes
5. Cool. Then put in air tight container

I was told that some of the SAM’s stores have
reasonable bulk prices on pecans. I have been
paying $7.00 a pound. But waited to get them
for Christmas
