Accessing your documents from home

Go to  https://ocdsb.vmwareidentity.ca/

Change STAFF to STUDENT in the dropdown. Then enter your normal username and password (e.g. jmcin4@ocdsb.ca). Then login.

Click (or double click) on the Win 10 Desktop when it appears.

If you want to get the files to your home computer, there are a few options:

            Option 1: Login to your email on the virtual computer and send yourself an email with the file as an attachment. Then get it on your home computer.

            Option 2: Start up Google Drive on the virtual computer and drag the file into a folder there. Then download it from Google Drive on your home computer.

            Option 3: Use the virtual computer's Download (to your computer) or Upload (from your computer) options.

                  To do that, click the flyout tab in the middle of the left side of the screen.

                  From the top of the panel that opens, select the second faint icon. If you put the mouse over it, it says "Open File Transfer panel". Follow the instructions.

IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS using the virtual login, ask your teacher.
